An employee of the Naranjito CDT who returned to work on Monday gave a positive test for the coronavirus on Tuesday, the administrator of that facility, Patricia Villanueva reported.
The spokeswoman indicated that an action plan was activated and a cleaning operation was started by a company.
“We regret the diagnosis of our colleague who returned to work on Monday after spending some time without work. This is why, under our screening protocols, we identified the case and quickly proceeded to test for COVID-19, and all exposed employees. In addition, due notification was made to the Department of Health, “Villanueva said.
They ensure they comply with federal guidelines
“Our plan follows the guidelines of the State and the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) for this type of internal hospital situation, which includes, but is not limited to: counseling , quarantines to affected or exposed employees, rapid and confirmatory tests, specialized cleaning, tracking and notification to the relevant agencies, ”he added.
