Nearly 250 travelers caught with a false covid test at Brussels Airport

Since April 25, 249 travelers have been caught with a false covid test certificate at Brussels Airport, the Hal-Vilvorde prosecutor’s office said on Friday. These fraudsters received a fine of 750 euros. Those who refuse to pay will be brought before the criminal court and risk a five-year prison sentence and a fine of up to 2,000 euros.

The week of April 19 to 25, 58 people at fault were surprised at the national airport.
