As you well remember, at the end of this month of March, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Super Mario Bros. 35, Super Mario Game & Watch and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light will no longer be available for official purchase by Nintendo. It is also planned to end the Super Mario Maker servers.
Some fans were hoping that Nintendo would back down on this decision as it did in the past with Jump Rope Challenge, but it seems that it is not. Today these plans have been reconfirmed.
On Twitter, Nintendo Japan shared: “The ‘Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary’ campaign will end at the end of March 2021. With the end of the campaign, production, sales and services of some products will also end.”
