No majorities for opposition motions on Moria

Vienna – The opposition failed on Monday in the special session of the National Council with motions about the crisis in the Greek refugee camp Moria. A majority could not be found in favor of the FPÖ’s application against the admission of refugees, nor for the SPÖ and Neos’ pro-refugee admission. Both parties wanted to set deadlines so that their applications would be dealt with by the next plenary session. This left the SPÖ and Neos in the minority.
