A sixth season now seems unlikely, but series creator Eric Rochant has announced a reboot in preparation with the same characters.
If Mathieu Kassovitz, alias Malotru, said he was leaving for a sixth season, nothing seems so sure today. Recall that the French spy series created by Eric Rochant ended after a fifth season, whose last episodes directed by Jacques Audiard had not been unanimous.
On the occasion of a masterclass at the Cannes Séries festival, this October 13, Eric Rochant announced that a spin-off would see the light of day: “It won’t be a Bureau of Legends Season 6, I don’t believe. It’s rather close to the spin-off or the reboot. There will be a new serial proposal that will be in the spirit and philosophy of the Legends office, with characters from Legends office very probably. It’s being written.“
If he will not be in charge of this reboot, the creator of the series is still in production. Eric Rochant announced that he already has a director in mind “to the strong universe“. And it will not be Jacques Audiard, the director declined the invitation.

A new spy series for Eric Rochant
Showrunner Eric Rochant is said to be already preparing a new spy series with the company Tomorrow Studios (producing Snowpiercer on Netflix). This series will focus on new secret agents and will take place mainly in the United States, also passing through China, the United Kingdom and France. “I intend to talk about the contemporary world of intelligence and geopolitics, while creating a moving, tense series about people involved in covert operations, which will also teach us that they are like us.”He added last july. A new project that looks promising.
