Northern Arizona player gets dead at home


FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) – Northern Arizona University officials say that football player died.

The school's athletics department said in Monday's statement that Malik Noshi, an aggressive linear man, was found on Sunday morning in his Flagstaff house.

University spokesperson Randy Press said no further comments would be made about the respect of the Noshi family.

He says Flagstaff police are investigating the cause of death.

Noshi, from Las Vegas, started as a re-launch for the Lumberjacks in 2015. It started two games in 2016 and continued to be a start in all 12 games in the 2017 season.

Last year, he started nine games and earned an honor from the Big Sky Conference.

His parents and younger brother and sister live.
