In the campaign for his re-election at the head of the French football federation, Christmas Le Graët was at the Mediterranean Football League in Aix this Tuesday morning. He spoke of the current crisis at OM.
In Provence, the number one in French football highlighted the importance of the Marseille club: “OM is an extremely important club for us. We need Marseille, I can only ask people to calm down, to wait a little bit. (…) All these presidents who get heckled when their team loses, admit that it’s a little complicated. It is not deserved. Not everyone can win. Look at the standings, it’s very tight. OM is not far away. There is a slight crisis, but it does not deserve so much excessAnother one who believes that the current crisis is only a simple sporting crisis. But this ignorance of the field is not so surprising.
As a reminder, Noël Le Graët was president of the LNF (equivalent to the LFP, editor’s note) in 1993 and had his role to play in the sad VA-OM affair.
