Otomotivnet.com – Hyundai Creta claims to be well received in the Indonesian automotive market.

“Hyundai Creta has received a very positive response from the Indonesian people and exceeded our expectations,” said Astrid Ariani Wijana, General Manager of HMID Department (25/6/2022).

According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (GAIKINDO), wholesale or factory sales to Hyundai Creta dealerships starting in January 2022, recorded 7,654 units in May 2022.

Though the number of orders for Crete so far is said to have reached 11,000 units, after they were introduced in November 2021.

Because the number of orders is higher than the stock at the dealership, consumers also have to pivot to get this Compact Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) from South Korea.

“For some types of pivots, the waiting time will depend on the exterior color and interior combination,” said the familiar woman named Astrid.

According to GAIKINDO data, Hyundai Creta’s most expensive variant, namely Prime IVT Two Tone, became the most sold during the period January to May 2022 with 2,831 units.

Next, Prime Single Tone (1,929 units), Style (1,591 units), Trend IVT (1,099 units), Trend MT (122 units), and Active MT variants (82 units).

Astrid added that her party really appreciated the enthusiasm of the Indonesian people for the first Hyundai product produced locally in Cikarang, West Java.

“Hyundai as a customer-centric brand will continue to meet the needs of our customers spread across various regions of Indonesia,” he concluded.
