The President of PHR-Regional Sumatra, Jaffee Arizon Suardin explained, WLL-001 was well excavated on March 28, 2022 and reached a final depth of 1,358 meters measured (mMD) on April 19, 2022.
This well was able to obtain fuel and condensation through the first Drill Stem Test (DST # 1) conducted on the Benakat Air Training Sandstone Reservoir at intervals of 880-886 meters.
“From the first layer content test results, the gas flow rate is 5.69 million cubic feet standard per day (MMSCFD) and 482.7 barrels of condensation per day (BCPD),” Jaffee said in a written statement, Monday (9). /5/2020).2022).
“In addition, second and third layer content tests will be conducted at other sandstone intervals in the Air Benakat formation,” he continued.

Massive and aggressive work plan Subholding Upstream 2022
PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) -Subholding Upstream Exploration Director, Medy Kurniawan added, this achievement was a trigger for Pertamina workers in the Sumatra Region to continue trying to find new oil and gas supplies.
Upstream Subholding has a massive and aggressive work plan in 2022, including 29 most explorations, along with 813 most developments, 500 of which are in the PHR area.
“With the full support of all stakeholders, the company’s operational activities in acquiring and producing oil and gas products can go smoothly and the energy needs of Indonesia can be met. Thanks to the stakeholders who supported the operation in Zone 4 , “he said.
Meanwhile, SKK Chief Representative Migas Sumbagsel, Anggono Mahendawan said, as one of the most targeted drilling cooperation contractors (KKKS) this year, PHR must make more efforts to find oil and gas supplies in the operating area a.
He assured that SKK Migas would support the drilling plan that PHR has made in the Sumbagsel area.
It is hoped that the discovery of these reserves could promote the achievement of the national target, namely the production of 1 million barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 12 billion cubic feet of standard gas per day (BSCFD) by 2030.
“This discovery will also contribute to the achievement of the national oil and gas production targets, it is hoped that all the targets given to PHR can be achieved and production continues to increase,” said Anggono.
