PlayStation 5 users can enter the world of roller coasters from November 12th in the USA, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea and from November 19th in Great Britain, Europe and the rest of the world.
Available as a digital exclusive version, the Planet Coaster: Deluxe Edition offers an expanded range of rides and roller coasters. In addition to the main game, players will also get access to the Magnificent Rides Collection and the Classic Rides Collection with a total of 18 new rides and roller coasters inspired by iconic attractions at fairgrounds and theme parks around the world. These additions are sure to offer budding theme park managers even more opportunities to delight their guests.
Soon even more players will be able to experience the thrill and fascination of their own amusement park – regardless of which console they choose. The price for the standard version is € 44.99 and € 54.99 for the deluxe edition.
Thanks to next-gen upgrade support, those who purchase the game in digital form on PlayStation4 or Xbox One can download the optimized next-gen version for free when it becomes available. All they have to do is log into their next-gen console with the account they used to purchase the game. Those who purchase a physical copy of the game can download the optimized version of the next-gen version at no additional cost when it becomes available by inserting the disc into their next-gen console. However, it should be noted that next-gen upgrades are not available for physical versions of the game when players upgrade to the PlayStation®5 Digital Edition or the Xbox Series S, as they do not have a corresponding drive installed.
And that’s not all. Those who pre-order Planet Coaster: Console Edition or Planet Coaster: Deluxe Edition at participating retailers will receive Oswald’s Magnificent Machine. This remarkable one-off roller coaster, designed by Planet Coaster impresario Oswald B. Thompson, was his first roller coaster creation and embodies all of the fun and excitement that Oswald seeks in his parks.
Frontier’s first next-gen title brings all of the fun and excitement of the critically acclaimed PC original to the console.
