PM calls for resignation of PM accused of treason: King


Kuala Lumpur: Demands are mounting for the resignation of Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, who has been charged with treason. Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has called for the beleagured PM to resign.

The king’s criticism is that the prime minister is misleading parliament in the name of Kovidi. Muhyiddin Yassin seized power last year without even holding an election following the withdrawal of allied support.
