Prince Philip: The Queen arrives at Balmoral without Duc for the start of the summer holidays

QUEEN Elizabeth arrived at the Balmoral Estate for the start of her summer vacation – but she will not be joined by her husband, Prince Philip.

The Royal will spend the next few weeks at Craigowan Lodge in the Scottish estate until the end of July, while Balmoral Castle prepares for the closing of tourists.

We do not know where Prince Philip was at the time and why he did not join the Queen.

Craigowan Lodge is equipped with seven rooms and is only one mile from Aberdeenshire Castle and was once a popular holiday destination for Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Most years before the Queen leaves for Scotland, she premieres summer shows for tourists at Buckingham Palace – but this year she left without looking at him .
