Over the period from March to September, the loss of income is estimated at 50% over the same six months of last year. And, according to the Pro League, which relied on the clubs’ VAT returns, the trend is downward with an 80% drop in the third quarter of 2020. What bodes heavy losses for the clubs that see each other cut off from match day resources with the generalization of closed doors, one of their four sources of income with TV rights, sponsorship and the transfer of players.
