“He doesn’t know what’s going on and he keeps making those comments like he knows something about it,” said Quentin Tarantino sooner over Simon Pegg, the actor we saw in the three Star Trek-reboots. Pegg didn’t like Tarantino to make the next film in the franchise.
Pegg spoke to RadioTimes a little while ago about the situation and said he even asked Tarantino if the director would be angry with him. “I didn’t read his story for Star Trek, but I heard it’s very ‘Quentin Tarantino does Star Trek’, you know. And that’s something you’d hope too,” said Pegg.
No issues at all
“To be honest, I saw Tarantino on a Once Upon a Time in Hollywood thing and I was like, ‘You’re not mad at me, are you?'” said Pegg. “He was like, ‘No, man, no! The press is blowing it all up!'” Then they laughed about it.
It is now clear that the Star Trekfilm by Tarantino is not going to come at all for the time being. In January, the director indicated that the film may be made, but that he is unlikely to direct it.
