Release date, new cast, trailer and other things we know so far.

The American web TV series “What We Do In The Shadow” by Jemaine Clement is a comedy-horror show by Mockumentary. The show is based on the 2014 film of the same name What We Do In The Shadow, written by Taika Waititi and Clement. Soon the series will arrive with the second season.

Release date

The first season was aired on March 27, 2019 and, in May 2019, the series was renewed for the second season by Fx. The series will consist of ten episodes and will premiere on April 15, 2020. Officials have not launched official trailers or teasers.

The main cast should also return in the second season
Kayvan Novak, as Nandor the Relentless, a 757-year-old vampire who was a soldier of the Ottoman Empire and the king of a country in Al Quolanudar (southern Iran).
Matt Berry as Laszlo Cravensworth, a Nobel English vampire. He is bisexual
Natassia Demetriou in Nadja, Roman vampire and Laszlo’s wife
Mark Proksch as Colin Robinson, the fourth vampire who lives with the trio.
Harvey Guillen in Guillen aspired to become a vampire, but he is a vampire hunter
There is a high probability that we may see other vampire guest stars.

The first season introduced vampire advice and we could also see them in the season for Taiki Waititi, Jemaine Clement, Johnny Brugh, Dave Bautista, Tilda Swinton, Evan Rachel Wood, Paul Reubens, Danny Trejo and Wesley Snipes.

What can we expect in the second season?
The show is set on Staten Island and the story is about four vampire roommates, who have lived together for a hundred years.

We could see Laszlo’s reports.

Co-producer and executive writer Stefani Robinson told IndieWire:

“It is one of those good moments in the plot where you have someone who is so submissive and low-level, elevated to a higher state, and is facing this … We realize that it could be destined to kill everyone.”

So in essence, the plot could be about Guillermo’s powers and how he confronts him, since he is a human being who is with vampires and always aspires to become one, but when actual reality hits him like a vampire hunter, what we do will be exciting to watch

The first season has an approval score of 94%, (based on 68 reviews) with an average score of 7.84 / 10.

On Metacritic, the show scored an average of 80 out of 100 (based on 28 critics).

So the show went pretty well on the critics’ tip. Therefore the second season becomes a must.

Get ready to laugh with your screams.
