The afternoon of this Sunday was vandalized on Hemicycle to juarez, this, after becoming known that the head and wings of the republican eagle, which belongs to this neoclassical monument, were allegedly destroyed by members of the Peasant Torch Movement.
Given this, elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) protected the Hemicycle to Juarez that was created in 1910 for the anniversary of the Mexico’s independence. THE UNIVERSAL was able to verify the damage with photographs and videos.
Early versions indicate that the act of vandalism was around 4:30 pm this afternoon. In the place were members of the Peasant Torch Movement to march towards the National Palace, with the aim of demonstrating against the governor of Puebla, Luis Miguel Barbosa.

It should be remembered that on November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, this monument was vandalized by protesters who expressed their complaints with black and purple paint; On this occasion, the republican eagle also suffered some damage.
