The multiplayer project appears to have been quietly delayed due to updated information on the game’s wen site along with some emails that have been sent to some fans of Resident Evil.
It is now said to be released sometime during the summer instead of early May as originally intended.
Capcom doesn’t appear to have done much of a homework regarding the delay, as no official announcement has been observed anywhere on social media or the game’s release date is said to have been delayed.
Instead, you can find the first indication of the delay on the Resident Evil Re: Verse site where it says that the game “will be released in summer 2021.”
