PYONGYANG, KOMPAS.com – A report says that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was overthrown by his own brother, and was replaced by an impersonator.
US-based media Globe reports, Kim was ousted by his younger brother, Kim Yo Jong, between May 6 and June 5.

The report states that Kim, who has been appearing in public all this time, is a copycat, referring to his increasingly thin body.
Indeed, since the middle of the year, Kim Jong Un has looked so slim every time he attends state events.
Analysts suspect the North Korean leader since 2011 has lost up to 20 kilograms of weight.
In early October, Kim attended a defense exhibition in Pyongyang, and called for the need to increase military capabilities.

In a photo released by the North, Kim was seen smoking a cigarette along with a number of his officials at the event.
The news of Kim being overthrown by Kim Yo Jong sparked a response from South Korean intelligence (NIS) that the report was not true.
Gazetted Yonhap Sunday (10/24/2021), a separate statement from another government source also confirmed that the news was a lie.
