Samsung has announced the release date of the Galaxy A42 5G. The affordable 5G device will be in Dutch stores at the end of this month with a suggested retail price of 349 euros.

Of Galaxy A42 5G, the cheapest 5G smartphone from Samsung, is on 30th of October available in the Netherlands. The smartphone was previously announced by Samsung, but the company did not announce the exact release date at the time. The smartphone rings 349 euro cost. This is striking, because Samsung previously announced that the A42 5G has a suggested retail price of 379 euros.
The smartphone is available in three colors (black, gray and white) and an improved version of the Galaxy A41. However, this smartphone does not support 5G and has a smaller screen, less powerful hardware and a smaller battery. It is a lot cheaper.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G has a large 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a small notch and a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 750 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. The battery is 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with 15 Watt.
Four cameras can be found on the back, each with its own unique feature. The main camera has a resolution of 48 megapixels. This way you can take a great photo with enough details and contrast. A wide-angle lens of 8 megapixels is also available. With that camera you shoot good pictures with a wider angle of, for example, landscapes or architecture.
Finally, there are two 5 megapixel cameras available. This way you can quickly take a good close-up of an insect or flower bud. The fourth sensor is used to store depth information. That information is then used in portrait photos. For example, the subject is sharp in the photo, while the background is blurred.
