A mother received a surprise visit from a DoorDash delivery man who brought her 31 cheeseburgers she did not order.
What he didn’t know, however, was that his two-year-old boy had been playing with his phone in the previous half hour and that he had ordered cheeseburgers, the report said. Houston Chronicle.
“My son played with my phone,” the boy’s mother, Kelsey Burkhalter Golden, told Corpus Christi affiliate CBS. “I thought he was taking pictures, but when I looked at (the application) I saw that the order was being placed while he was playing with my phone.”
At $ 1.89 for a cheeseburger, the resourceful youth relieved her mother of about $ 60 with her order.
Burkhalter Golden couldn’t eat many McDonald’s sandwiches, he offered to share his 31 cheeseburgers in a Facebook post that went viral.
In the photo, the mischievous toddler can be seen posing proudly, burger in hand, along with her cheesy artwork.
His mother, meanwhile, will be more cautious in the future.
“I guess I have to hide the app or something because DoorDash is not protected,” he told the TV station.
