In rugby it plays. Finally “for now”. The matches of the Six Nations Tournament scheduled for next weekend – apart from Ireland-Italy already postponed – are for the moment maintained despite the wave of coronavirus that strikes Europe. A decision made Monday after a meeting of organizers which can always be reversed by future measures taken by the governments of the countries concerned.
“Other government meetings are scheduled in the coming days and we will have to wait to see what comes out of it. For the moment, apart from the match between Ireland and Italy, all the other matches are maintained. But different governments can decide otherwise and we have to be ready for any eventuality, ”said a spokesperson for the organizers. The French team, still undefeated after three days, should therefore face Scotland on Sunday (4 p.m.) in Edinburgh while England-Wales is still scheduled for Saturday in London. The date of the postponement of the Ireland-Italy match, however, is still not known and no final decision should be taken on Monday.
