Sony Electronics has announced the Alpha 7C (a7C) interchangeable-lens full-frame mirrorless camera, which will begin shipping in late October.
The novelty is enclosed in a compact body with dimensions of 124 × 71 × 60 mm and weighs 509 g, including the NP-FZ100 rechargeable battery. A BSI-CMOS CMOS sensor (35.6 × 23.8 mm) with 24 million effective pixels was used. The information from the sensor is processed by the high-performance BIONZ X processor.
The camera is equipped with a five-axis stabilization system. It is possible to take photos with a resolution of up to 6000 × 4000 pixels, as well as record videos in 4K format (3840 × 2160 pixels) at a speed of up to 30 frames per second. Supports sequential photography at 10 frames per second. An SD / SDHC / SDXC card is used to store the footage.
The device is equipped with a 3-inch variable-position touchscreen display. There is an electronic viewfinder with 100% frame coverage.
The equipment includes adapters for wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth, as well as an NFC controller. Micro HDMI and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are provided.
Sensitivity value – ISO 100-51200, expandable to ISO 50-204800. The shutter speed range is from 1/8000 to 30 s.
