Spain already knows its rivals for the European 2020


The Spanish handball team, current champion of Europe, will face in the first phase of the European Championship in Sweden, Austria and Norway 2020 with teams from Germany, Latvia and the Netherlands, according to the draw held this Friday in Vienna.

The Spanish team, which was framed in Group C, will play the matches of the first phase in the Norwegian city of Trondheim.

In the event that the "Hispanics", recent winners of the EHF Euro Cup, achieve one of the first two places of the group, they will face in the second phase, which will be played in Vienna, with the first two classified of the groups A -Croatia, Belarus, Montenegro and Serbia- and B-Czech Republic, Macedonia, Austria and Ukraine-.
