Steve Jobs' shoes sold for $220,000 - World

A pair of sandals worn by Steve Jobs was auctioned by Julien’s auction for almost 220 thousand dollars. This is the highest price ever paid for sandals.

It is a Swedish model birkenstock dating from the mid-1980s70 and has the footprints of the founder Apple. According to the auction house the shoes were worth approx 60 thousand dollars but the price eventually almost quadrupled. Jobs wore sandals on those feet parents’ home in Palo Alto, Californiawhere in 1976 con Steve Wozniak gave life Apple. The house is now ‘a historic landmark’. Jobs died in 2011 of pancreatic cancer.
