ദുBoy: The world’s deepest and largest swimming pool will open to the public on Wednesday. The 60.02 meter deep ‘Deep Dive’ Swimming Pool is located in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. The swimming pool, which can hold 14 million liters of water, is about the size of six Olympic-sized pools. The pool currently holds the Guinness World Record for the deepest swimming pool in the world. The area is 1500 square meters. The rate is 400 dirhams per person, including all diving equipment. For those who love scuba diving and snorkeling, this is a great experience.

Admission is by online booking only: deepdivedubai.com. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 noon to 8 pm. Parking is free. It is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Dubai and a 20 minute drive from Dubai International Airport. Scuba diving and snorkeling do not require diving certification. Dubai Director Jarrod Jablonski said Deep Dive Dubai will excite people of all ages.

Special courses and tours are available for those 10 years of age and older. The courses are divided into three categories: Discover, Dive and Development. There will be a team of international diving professionals for free diving and scuba diving training. It uses state-of-the-art technology, including an advanced hyperbaric chamber.
