Detained for killing girls in Rybinsk pleaded guilty – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The Investigative Committee of Russia has published a video in which detained in Rybinsk, a man confesses to the murder of two young girls.

The suspect is the cohabitant of the mother of the murdered sisters, born in 2006 and 2011. On September 15, the woman left home, leaving her daughters with him. When she returned, she found the bodies of the girls with stab wounds, the man disappeared. Later, an examination established that the children before death raped.

The escaped roommate became the main suspect, he was put on the wanted list. The UK quickly found out that in December 2019, the man was released from the colony, where he was serving time for serious crimes – including murder. On Friday, he was detained by police officers in Rybinsk. The man confessed to the murders and said that he was drunk.

A criminal case was initiated under Articles 105 and 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder and rape of minors).
