CHANGE IN THE TEACHER APPOINTMENT REGULATIONS
The Regulation on the Amendment of the Ministry of Education Teacher Appointment and Relocation Regulation entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette in June.
Turkey Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) or Turkey Academy of Sciences (TUBA) in coordination conducted by national or international science olympiads and research project competition, the top three places in individual or team or honorable mention in the area will be given a score-service teacher who has students actually study.
The Regulation on the Amendment of the Ministry of Education Teacher Appointment and Relocation Regulation entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the service score will be formed based on the total of the values obtained as a result of multiplying the stipulated score for each service area served by the working time in that area and the activities for which the service score is given.
In this context, the service points of female teachers who are assigned as tutors in boarding or boarding educational institutions will be added 2 points for each month they actually work, and 1 point for each month they actually work in this context.
Within the scope of the Support and Training Courses Directive and the Education Program in Primary Schools, the service scores of the educational institution managers and teachers who actually teach or carry out management duties will be given 0.5 points for each month they work in this context.
Service scores of teachers who have completed their obligation to work, those who continue to work in educational institutions where compulsory work is envisaged and those who have been appointed to educational institutions for various reasons after working in educational institutions where compulsory work is not anticipated, being limited to the time they work in educational institutions for which compulsory work is envisaged, and the service they are serving It will be determined by increasing 50 percent for each year, taking into account the anticipated score for the field.
Teachers who actually work for primary and secondary school students who are in the first three places in the national or international science olympics and research project competitions conducted under the coordination of TÜBİTAK or TÜBA, or who receive an honorable mention award; 15 service points for the first degree, 10 for the second degree, 5 for the third degree or honorable mention for those at national level; For those on an international scale, 30 service points for the first degree, 20 for the second degree, and 10 for the third degree or mention will be awarded.
Teachers who are in the first three places individually or as a team in scientific, artistic, cultural or sportive competitions organized nationally or internationally, with only one of these competitions and the highest score suitable for this competition; 20 service points for first degree, 15 for second degree, 10 for third degree or honorable mention for nationals; For those on an international scale, 35 service points for the first degree, 25 for the second degree, and 15 for the third degree or mention will be added.
Among the teachers, 90 service points will be given to those who have a doctorate degree, 50 to those who have a master’s degree with thesis, 30 to those who have a non-thesis master’s degree, except for secondary education field teaching, and 10 to those who have a second four-year higher education.
For those whose articles have been published in an international peer-reviewed journal, for a maximum of three articles for each article, for those who have published articles in a national refereed journal, for a maximum of three articles for each article, 3 for each article, for a maximum of one certificate of achievement, 3 and at most one for each article. 4 service points will be added to those who receive a certificate of excellence, 5 for those who receive a maximum of one award, and 15 for those who have a certificate within the scope of the eTwinning program.
The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office will receive 30 service points for each patent registration, 20 for each utility model registration, and 10 service points for each design registration for those who receive a design registration.
Only the highest score appropriate to their status will be added to the teachers from the service scores foreseen for undergraduate or graduate education and service scores for success, outstanding achievement or award.
The service scores of the teachers, whose service scores have been increased by 100 percent before 19 June 2020, taking into account the score foreseen for the service area served within the scope of compulsory labor obligation, will continue to be determined with an increase of 100 percent as long as they continue to work in the same educational institution. The service scores of those who are assigned to different educational institutions in compulsory service areas by relocation on the date of entry into force of this regulation and on a later date, will be determined by increasing 50 percent for each year, taking into account the score foreseen for the service area under the mandatory work obligation.
