Specialists of the Federal Biomedical Agency (FMBA) arrived on a special board at the airport of the Extreme Baikonur Cosmodrome. This was reported to RBC in the press service of Roscosmos.
“On the same flight, mechanical ventilation devices, 2 thousand sets of personal protective equipment and the necessary medicines in sufficient quantities arrived,” the state corporation said.

They noted that “they are taking all necessary measures” in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Baikonur.
On June 26, a curfew was introduced in the Kazakh city of Baikonur because of the coronavirus, restrictions were placed on entry and exit from the city, and public institutions were closed. At the same time, the spaceport continued to work.
