The Russian tourism industry after the coronavirus pandemic could recover by the spring of 2021. This was reported by TASS the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova.
“Tourism can recover earlier than by the end of 2021, namely by the spring of 2021,” Doguzova said.
According to her, the department offers hoteliers and tour operators, together with the regions, to work out an extension of the holiday season until the end of October 2020.
The head of the Federal Tourism Agency noted that tour operators can offer Russians interesting places in Russia for recreation. According to Doguzova, Russians who, due to the coronavirus pandemic, could not spend their holidays in the first half of 2020, will be able to go on a trip in the fall.
She added that this year the full-fledged summer tourist season will begin on July 1.
