The Batman is one of the films most affected by the pandemic of the COVID-19, because in addition to having to delay its premiere for just over a year, a few weeks ago it was reported that Robert pattinson he had been diagnosed with this disease. Warner He refused to say if this was true, but now they confirmed that they have already resumed filming and the English actor is back on set.
Exclusively for Variety, a spokesperson for Warner Bros. Pictures said the following:
“Having paused filming due to COVID-19 precautions, filming of The Batman has resumed in the UK.”
It was exactly on September 3 that filming was completely stopped in what Pattinson and other team members who interacted with him were kept in quarantine, however, work continued on the film, specifically on the construction of sets and props.
The Batman has its premiere scheduled for October 1, 2021.
