The Board will support all requests for aid from peoples affected by the cold drop

One day after the visit to Almansa of the head of the Castilian-Manchego Executive, Emiliano García-Page, together with the President of the Government of Spain in office, Pedro Sánchez, on Tuesday the regional Government Council has taken the decision to support all Applications from the municipalities affected by the cold drop storm of the past days.

What the Government of Castilla-La Mancha will do, as reported by the Minister of Sustainable Development, José Luis Escudero, is to raise them as soon as possible to the Central Executive, who is the one with the competencies, so that these municipalities receive financial assistance «as soon as possible ».

Escudero has expressed, in this way, "the unequivocal commitment of the regional government so that these municipalities have these grants and can alleviate the various damage they have suffered."

The Governing Council has also approved to make available to the Delegation of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha all the information and all the data handled during these days by the 112 emergency service, although the damages of the storm are still being assessed.

In this sense, Escudero wanted to remember, at the journalists' questions, that farmers in the region have at their disposal a "very powerful" agricultural insurance approved in the previous legislature, as well as agreements for the arrangement of roads. He also stressed that the Autonomous Government has asked the Ministry of Finance to reduce a section of the IRPF for the agricultural sector.

"All administrations are obliged to work in a coordinated manner so that these municipalities return to normal as soon as possible," said the Minister of Sustainable Development, who wanted to thank on behalf of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, the work done by all those who have participated these days in the work of help and recovery of the areas affected by the cold drop. .
