The Botanical Nights await 65,000 attendees


The Botanical Garden of the Complutense University of Madrid will host, from June 20 to July 31, 34 concerts of different styles, 10 of them exhausted and others about to do so, where the more than 65,000 attendees of different generations who have already acquired your entrance, you can enjoy the direct at a privileged distance, in an idyllic setting.

The concerts will begin on June 20 with Woody Allen & The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band and will continue with Ana Belén (June 21), Los Planetas (22), Milton Nascimento and Andrea Motis (24), The Chieftains with Carlos Núñez ( 25), Salvador Sobral (26), Iván Ferreiro (27), Andrés Calamaro (28), Zahara and Ximena Sariñana (29) and The Waterboys and Paul Carrack (day 30). Already in July, it's time for Beirut and Hindi Zahra (day 3), Madness (4), The Roots (5), Lorena McKennitt (6 and 7), Macy Gray and Amadou & Mariam and The Blind Boys of Alabama (10), Michael Bolton (11), Diego El Cigala (12), Jane Birkin and Concierto de Aranjuez (17), Orishas (19), Keane (20), Melody Margot and José James (22), Snarky Puppy and Masego (23), George Benson and Tomatito (25), Chick Corea and Paco de Lucía Project (26), Ben Harper (29), Supersonic Blues Band with Billy Gibbons and Joe Louis Walker (30) and Russian Red (July 31).

The organization has announced new guest artists and double programs: Amaro Ferreiro opening on June 27 for Iván Ferreiro, Komraus on July 2 as guests of Daryl Hall & John Oates, Judith Owen will precede Michael Bolton on the 11th, Juan Habichuela Nieto on the 12th will do the same for Diego El Cigala, La Tremendita on 14 with Niña Pastori, DJ Guacamayo with Orishas on 19, and Rufus T. This year the festival will open its doors every day at 7:00 p.m., in order to enjoy the Botanical Garden for longer, its different services, gastronomic proposals and complementary artistic programming.

For this, it will have the Alhambra Moments Zone, which will welcome the public before the concerts on the main stage. It will be entertained daily by a varied program with renowned DJs like Eva A. & Xabi B., duet formed by Eva Amaral and Xabi Blanco, Joaquín Reyes & Adrián LeFreak, composed by the comedian and promoter of Malasaña, the duo of punk rock female Cheries, or the already consecrated Smart, programmer of Ochoymedio, and Eme DJ. There will also be room for journalists from the mainstream media, emerging artists such as Chlöes Clue or Embusteros, new talent with the participation of Mind Gap Now, Gabriela Richardson or Javi Medina, and for other activities such as the exhibition and swing workshop of Anabel Nuñez .
