More tampons than yesterday but almost two thousand fewer cases. There are 5,394 new infections from Covid registered on the island where today, compared to the 34,922 tampons processed, the positivity rate drops from 17.3 to 15.4%. There is a slight increase in the data relating to the pressure on hospitals in Sicily, now the tenth region for new infections. The percentage of vaccinated in Sicily (completed cycle or single dose) reaches 76.40% (87.11% in Italy). Data updated at 6.12 of 23 January 2022.

This is the age distribution of the vaccines considering the completed cycles and the single doses: 12,021 (3.87%) on an audience of 310,396 for the age group 5-11 years; 283,990 out of 401,213 in the 12-19 age group (77.22%); 429,092 out of 532,526 in the 20-29 age group (80.58%); 450,822 out of 583,826 in the 30-39 age group (77.22%); 554,277 out of 694,418 in the 40-49 age group (79.82%); 627,776 out of 755,875 age group 50-59 (83.05%); 539,443 out of 631,055 aged 60-69 (85.48%); 413,371 out of 467,157 in the 70-79 age group (88.49%); 280,819 out of 324,595 over 80 (85.51%).

These, on the other hand, are the percentages for the additional dose or the booster: 15.31% for the age group 12-19; 34.38% for the 20-29 range; 33.21% for the 30-39 range; 41.30% for the 40-49 range; 50.63% for the 50-59 range; 58.12% for the 60-69 range; 63.61% for the 70-79 range; 63.19% for the over 80 group.
