The Central Cybercrime Bureau will be established

In January 2021, the Central Cybercrime Bureau will be established. The bill on his appointment was presented by Mariusz Kamiński, Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, who also posted a tweet on this subject.

Kamiński informed that the goal is to employ 1,800 people. Officers until 2025. The currently ongoing recruitment draws attention mainly to the forecasted salary. This is to be 10-15 thousand. PLN per month. The requirements include, among others knowledge and skills in the field of broad-based computer science and cybersecurity, as well as knowledge of foreign languages.

Currently, around 350 people deal with combating cybercrime at the General Headquarters and provincial police headquarters.

The Central Cybercrime Bureau will deal with, inter alia, implementation of tasks in the field of recognizing, preventing and combating crimes committed with the use of modern information technologies.
