The Girona Film Museum, like most establishments, is closed due to coronavirus confinement, but has issued a statement announcing the “Culture does not stop” initiative to maintain its activity, virtually, at through social networks. In this sense, various video clips are being disseminated every day through these digital platforms (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) so that citizens can access some of the content that the museum regularly offers.
The audiovisual archives feature a number of pieces from his film collection, as well as excerpts from the “best endings” in movie history in the “Finals while we wait for the FINAL” section and recommendations for material to watch as a family. So you can enjoy the series every day The Light of the Cinema, exhibited in the museum with a total of 24 objects and which was produced by the Barcelona production company BeNeCé, Televisió de Catalunya and the Museum of Cinema in 2008.
The initiative is in line with the many cultural centers and facilities that have sought to disseminate cultural content for everyone who is forced to stay home.
The virtual classes are maintained
In the same way, the museum has informed teachers and teaching staff of the schools about the resources they can use remotely with their students, in a free and virtual way, to maintain some normality in their art and film lessons. For example, about watching many movies in the app EBiblio.
