Residents of nursing homes, people with intellectual disabilities in an institution and their care personnel are given priority. This is followed by people over 60 and people with serious medical conditions. This is stated in a letter that Minister Hugo de Jonge of Public Health sent to the Lower House on Friday. The CDA minister is holding back, because the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Medicines Evaluation Board (MEB) have yet to give the green light. Whether the approval will indeed come quickly is not yet certain.
