Real estate is more than ever a safe haven. A study shows once again to what extent the stone remains the preferred investment of the French, in particular the rental investment.
(BFM Immo) – Real estate remains the preferred investment for the French. This is what shows a study * by Poll & Roll for Mastéos, specialist in rental investment, published on Tuesday. Buying a main residence, renting out, second home … This is what the French who want to invest think first and foremost. Far ahead of savings accounts, life insurance and the Stock Exchange, the last preferred placement of the French according to the study (6% of respondents).
Real estate far ahead of the stock market
Real estate is at the top and in particular rental investment. 56% of people questioned say that they have or would like to buy a property in the medium or long term in order to rent it out. And those who want to invest today are rather young. They are between 25 and 34 years old and mostly live in large cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants. Cities often too expensive to own, hence the option of a small investment to build up a heritage.
