The French-speaking Belgian has an average of five close contacts, according to the GEMS report: and you? (survey)

From May 8, everyone will again be able to invite two people from the same family to their home. But, for part of the population, this will in reality only change very little, according to the latest GEMS report.

Flemings who completed the motivation barometer have, on average, almost four close contacts – not necessarily including hugs. Francophones have almost five.

“But that’s an average”, relativizes the psychologist of motivation Maarten Vansteenkiste (UGent), who is also part of the group of experts.

“If you look at the distribution, you see that four in ten respondents still keep their only close contact. It is important to mention this because sometimes you hear people who think they are the only ones who still stick to it. Fortunately, it is not. ”
