The Starward Industries studio – made up of ten developers who have worked on The Witcher 3, Dying Light or Cyberpunk 2077 – is now making its existence known by announcing its first project, The Invincible. A title based on the work of science fiction writer Stanisław Lem that we will be able to discover in 2021 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
Inspired by the eponymous novel published in 1964 by Stanisław Lem, The Invincible will put us in the shoes of a scientist at the heart of a crucial rescue mission. The objective will be to find the missing members of a crew on Regis III, a “distant planet with an atompunk aesthetic reminiscent of the time of the space race”, in a world where the digital revolution did not take place. , while the Cold War never ended.
