In the Kremlin, “slowly read” a book by a former Council President John Bolton, however, are urged not to overestimate its authenticity, the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov
The value and reliability of the memoirs of the former assistant to the President for national security John Bolton, released in the USA under the title “the Room where it happened: a memoir of the White house”, should not be overestimated. This was stated to journalists the press-Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports RBC.
Peskov said that the book of Bolton in the Kremlin, “read slowly”, but I think the outlined version should be very balanced to evaluate. Including because Bolton “could be, but could not be a witness” certain events.
The Kremlin partially agreed with the statements of Bolton on Putin
In response to a request for comment on Bolton’s assertion that the President of the United States Donald trump during the summit in Helsinki in 2018, especially late for a meeting with Vladimir Putin, Peskov said that such does not remember.
“It is hard to say, I’m now honestly, the details don’t recall there especially the President anybody did not expect. I don’t know as especially late trump, but our escort service works flawlessly, and Putin doesn’t wait for anybody,” — said Peskov reporters. He noted that, in addition to trump’s participation in the summit was attended by the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö, which Bolton seem to have forgotten, but “which is no less important.”
