The man used the stolen credit card at the Long Island gas station, police say

A man is wanted by Long Island police investigators after using a reported credit card stolen from a car parked at a gas station.

A warning was issued by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers as they attempt to locate and identify a man who used the stolen credit card to obtain gas in Valero in Selden.

Police said the man used the card in Valero on Route 25 late Wednesday 20 November. The card, along with other items, had been stolen earlier that night from a car in the Planet Fitness parking lot on Middle Country Road in Selden.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Suffolk County police investigators by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or by sending a suggestion.
