Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, conducted a night tour at Al-Sadr and Fever Hospital in Abbasiya, where she inspected the work progress and followed up efforts to confront the Corona virus.
Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, reviewed the current position of efforts to combat the Corona virus in Egypt, during the cabinet meeting yesterday, headed by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, regarding the total number of infected people, new infections, the number of healing cases, and cases whose outcome has been transformed From positive to negative, the number of new deaths, as well as the total number of deaths so far.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the rate of corona virus infection per million cases in all governorates of the Republic, explaining that a comparison was made between the numbers of cases transferred from sorting hospitals to different isolation and hostel hospitals in the period from May 6 to 12 this month, where isolation hospitals received 59% of Cases, while the hostel hosted 41% of cases, and the average days of isolation in hospitals was 11.6 days, in hospitals: Friendship, May 15, Al-Najila, Abu Khalifa, Al-Ajmi, Esna, Qaha, Baltim, Agouza, Tame Al-Amdid, and Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Tig, and Heliopolis.
