We have a first look to the design of the new cards Radeon RX 6000 with which AMD intends to deal with NVIDIA and its GeForce RTX 3000. The funny thing is that, beyond that first official image, the company has created a gigantic replica on its own island of the Creative mode of Fortnite.
If you want to enter that island, just go to Fortnite Creative mode, go to one of the cracks and select the option “Set island code”. The one on the island of AMD that allows you to go see the Radeon RX 6000 is 8651-9841-1639.
For now, thanks to the image and in-game card replica from Epic, we’ve seen that it includes the following:
- 3 fans to dissipate heat
- 2 8-pin connectors to connect to power
- 1 puerto HDMI
- 2 DisplayPort
- 1 USB-C port
In addition to that, we know that it will make use of architecture RDNA 2, such as GPUs Xbox Series and PS5, and that, in principle, this series RX 6000 should compete with series models RTX 3000 from NVIDIA. We have seen some alleged benchmark leaks made with the game Ashes of the Singularity which seem to point to similar performance to that currently offered by a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, we’ll see if that is confirmed.
In any case, and leaving these alleged leaks aside, AMD plans to offer both the final specifications and the price of its different models next October 28.
