The Uruguayan Nacional midfielder Gabriel Neves and Benfica forward Darwin Núñez are the two new cases of infected in La Celeste.

In addition, the Uruguayan press assures that the number can be raised to 15 if it is confirmed that Brian Rodríguez, from Los Angeles FC in the United States, also tested positive.

Neves and Núñez joined Matías Viña (Palmeiras), Luis Suárez (Atlético de Madrid), Rodrigo Muñoz (Cerro Porteño), Diego Rossi (Los Angeles FC), Alexis Rolín and Lucas Torreira (Atlético de Madrid), in addition to six members of the National Team staff.

The situation generates extreme concern in the Uruguayan Soccer Association (AUF), due to the age and delicate physical condition of its coach, Óscar Washington Tabárez, who is now 73 years old and has various walking difficulties.
