So far, Opel has kept the acceleration of 100 km / h in itself, but it boasted the highest speed, which is 170 km / h. This is 10 times more than the products of the Volkswagen concern on the MEB platform with single-axle drive.

According to the WLTP, the energy consumption should be 14.9 kWh / 100 km, and the battery can be charged up to 100 kW with a DC charger, when charging to 80% takes about half an hour. When charging with direct current, the astra maintains 11 kW.

The battery is stored in the floor and, according to the manufacturer, does not take up space for luggage, which in the case of a station wagon has a volume of 516 liters in a five-seater configuration and 1553 liters with the back bench. fold down.

But according to older information from the same source, conventional Astra Sports Tourer offers a trunk with a volume of 608, or 1634 l. For plug-in hybrid it is 548 or 1574 l. Opel did not show the photo of the trunk of the gift.

In terms of appearance, the electric Astra does not differ from conventional hybrid or plug-in variants, except for the absence of the exhaust tip and the “e” logo on the fifth door.
