“I emphasize that the measures that Krajská zdravotní, as is preparing, or is returning to, are of a preventive nature. As I said during the first wave of the pandemic in the spring, as the largest inpatient medical facility in the Czech Republic and at the same time with seven thousand two hundred workers the largest employer in the Ústí Region, we must lead by example. We cannot afford to underestimate anything and jeopardize the trust of patients, the inhabitants of the Ústí nad Labem Region, which, thanks to the high professionalism and commitment of our healthcare professionals, has gained even greater strength. We take all preventive measures with regard to the protection of the health of patients and our employees, “said Jiří Novák, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KZ.

“The Pandemic Staff of Krajská zdravotní, as meets regularly, carefully monitors and evaluates the situation. We are ready to do our utmost to cope with the expected influx of patients requiring hospitalization and testing of a larger number of people in our laboratories, “said Petr Fiala, CEO of KZ. “We will focus, among other things, on optimizing the distribution of our employees’ holidays so as to ensure the full-fledged operation of medical workplaces in the Regional Health Hospitals,” he added.

“Another preventive measure is the postponement of conferences, seminars and other educational and presentation events of KZ with the abolition of the current dates,” said the main hygienist of KZ Dana Vaculíková.

The management of Krajská zdravotní will lead by example and announce that its members will not participate in publicly organized events until further notice in order to protect the health of themselves and others.
