At the current Dubai Expo venues, driverless vehicles are being serviced on certain lanes. Some companies have volunteered to use these vehicles to deliver goods to certain areas. Driverless vehicles will also be introduced at airports, ports and construction sites.
It also plans to make 5% of Dubai taxis driverless. With this, Dubai will be the first city after the US to have this facility. Electric Autonomous Air Taxi (AAT) will also take off soon. Driverless vehicles powered by artificial intelligence have the capability to monitor other vehicles and pedestrians.
