If you’re a Star Wars fan, the last ninth Star Wars movie: The Rise of Skywalker didn’t make you very happy. On the contrary, the series The Mandalorian, which premiered on November 12, 2019 on the Disney + streaming service, made the vast majority of Star Wars fans happy, and not only them.
After a long time, there was a creator who was not afraid to experiment a bit and, unlike films, not to try to thank everyone. Behind the series is producer, screenwriter, director and actor Jon Favreau, whom you probably remember most as Happy Hogan from Iron Man.
In the first season of The Mandalorian, it marked a return to the roots of Star Wars, to a western way of telling and also an honest treatment of a story that is more based on characters than digital effects. The main role was excellently played by Pedro Pascal, who had a great time with the fact that his face is not visible all the time. You will also see actress Gina Carano in the series, but Carl Weathers has also returned, and Michael Biehn, Katee Sackhoff and Timothy Olyphant will also play in the second season. And of course little Joda.
The trailer for the second season looks great, the premiere of The Mandalorian – Season 2 is again on Disney +, on October 30, 2020.
