Back from the Club World Cup – where he was Chelsea’s hero – Romelu Lukaku received a very nice gift from one of his sponsors. He shared this on his Instagram account: “My new baby,” he wrote, posing alongside a brand new car donated by Maserati. The Italian car brand has been one of the sponsors of the Red Devil since 2020.
The model in question is a white Maserati MC20, which is capable of going from 0 to 200 km/h in just 9 seconds. Equipped with a 600 horsepower engine, the car is estimated at a price of 220,000 euros and can reach speeds of 325 km/h. A characteristic that Romelu Lukaku will not really be able to test, when you know the London traffic, which is regularly bottled up and has many speed cameras.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, the Belgian used to drive other big cars like the Rolls-Royce Wraith ‘Ghost Black Badge Edition’, a Mercedes-Benz AMG-GTR Coupé, a Mercedes-Benz AMG GLS 63, a Bentley Continental GT and a Range Rover.
