(ANSA) – BARI, JUNE 29 – The Lecce Public Prosecutor’s Office closed the investigation into the alleged aggravated and false private violence committed, between October and November 2015, by the magistrate of the Prosecutor of Trani, Michele Ruggiero, now pm in Bari, against two witnesses in an investigation that Ruggiero was conducting. The texts – according to the prosecution – were forced “with intimidating methods and verbal violence” to declare to be aware of some episodes of delivery of bribes.
The magistrate is also accused of the crime of false ideology for having omitted the details of the minutes of summary information of three other witnesses. One of the false accusations is contested at the Public Prosecutor in competition with a policeman from the Digos of Bari, Michele Tisci.
